The more data you save online, the more you'll have to pay to allow it to be preserved online. It's simple and seems to be quite safe. It's also easy to download it from any device connected to the internet. What happens in those instances where internet access isn't available? In those instances, I am grateful to have my laptop with me. It is my final safe harbor for the backups. They are connected in an RAID stack, so that they copy each other, and ensure that one copy is available in the event that one of the HDDs is damaged. I only copy data to them to ensure that the laptop does not fail.Another day of sadness happened few years ago. I'm very careful not to lose all of my work, and as I stated in the previous paragraph, and now I copy it multiple times and have access to it from anywhere internet access is available. It was Periscope. I used it a lot years back. I even did live streams during the Riots last summer in 2020. Periscope TV has now been shut down, and all videos are scheduled to disappear in the next few weeks. What do I do? I'm required to download all of the videos to be able to store them offline on my laptop.
