This is great for any live video, even if it is only for subscribers and has a time limit. It hasn't prevented me from using it. I'm suffering from a slow and intermittent internet connection in my home. I use the mobile hotspot WiFi? from the motel across the street. I will occasionally bring water to their office. They update their password every couple weeks. This lets me save on having to purchase my own home Internet, plus I do not have cable or any other device that would require a lot of installation, and I am renting, so this is a question I'd need to ask my landlord.. Are you able to see how far this is already going? How much work becomes from simply having your home cable connection? I simply access the internet at my hotel instead. It also lets me remain more secretive when doing online activities. I do on the internet, it's better if I don't have my own street address associated with my IP address..Therefore, whenever an online seminar is provided by my investment adviser or my school holds lectures by a renowned professor, or even if there's an underground party, streaming it will be exactly the same. There's no way for me to stream video because of my slow connection. It takes me around 2 to 3 more times longer to download videos to my computer which I'll explain in the following. This means that my connection is only 30% faster than what I need to watch videos with no buffering interruptions, and without lag. I open Chrome browser, Firefox, Safari, or any other browser with an inspect tab. Right click on the page. Open the inspect page. Then you switch to the network tab and look for the video playback file. It will usually include the m3u8 extension. Sometimes it may be a file with a different extension. However, those characters will be there so it will indicate an individual playlist for your video stream. The way it works is that your video stream is split into several smaller files. Your internet browser then downloads them one by one and plays them in order. While this is a seamless process however, it needs more data than the file size.
