This is something I learned the hard and painful way. My mom was always there to remind me that I need to be prepared for any situation. I was ecstatic about my first trip camping with her grandkids as well as my mom, but she was constantly advising me on how to prepare. That was a major mistake.We left with our vehicle to drive it all the way to the camping site. I wanted to recreate the same rural experience that my father had and so I decided to go to a remote location that turned out be in a large zone that was not accessible to service. It meant that our phones were no longer available and we were left completely isolated with no other campers. I'm not sorry I was expecting to have a wonderful camping experience..What was the situation? We had nothing, had no internet, had no bars , and no money. I had created an environment to let them see the projector I had brought with my laptop. I was unable to access Hulu or Netflix and it was hard to bear their presence. They wanted to check emails, texts, school matters, etc. We packed up and returned to our hotel. My kids made sounds similar to tiny piglets sucking delicious food after they came out from the internet-free zone. I truly love my children. It was embarrassing.
