Since I gave my baby girl her tablet, this has been my inquiry for two months. Supposedly they all help babies grow, improve cognitive and other functions and help them grow socially and mentally. My daughter is awestruck by the video. She keeps staring at it with her eyes sparkling, her laughter ready for her lips. It is fun to watch her being entertained. However, I do not comprehend all the commercial breaks. My child is not an actual customer So why are they pushing baby-like ads sometimes on Youtube for my baby or YouTube??First of all, commercials aren't understood by babies. They are both a waste of money and an utter waste of resources. They aren't even babies! If this is the case then why are you insisting on playing the ads for their little babies? If the ads are being shown to fathers and mothers or other baby-care givers, is that so they can profit? These videos are so captivating , my cat has taken to them. Usually, it's birds or mice but my cat is fascinated by the fact that they don't move for hours. It's like hunting, I think. These videos are repeatedly interrupted by ads. What are they trying for? My cat is not an avid consumer of anything other than those videos. She doesn't care about ads. They may be thinking that they are watching with my cat. While they might be partially accurate, I've noticed that I watch those videos with my cat more often than anything else useful.I discovered a great solution recently. It's basically downloading Youtube videos onto my computer, or to my daughter's tablet, then playing them from there. What do I mean? I found this site that allows me to keep videos on my computer instead of accessing it via Youtube every time my cat is looking for birdies. Then I double-click this MP4 file on my computer. VLC plays it instantly and there are no commercials.This is the same for all baby videos and video channels. I simply find all the videos my daughter likes to watch, then download them from Youtube onto my computer and then copy them to her tablet from there. If it's just a couple of songs I play them directly on her tablet, but in reality it's much easier to use this website on a desktop computer and then copy video files to wherever you'd like them, just because it's simpler to manage these things using a mouse. Maybe it's my fault, being old school that I am...This was a great method to reduce the use of mobile data.
