My personal story isn't that huge. I was born in the United States attended school, worked, and then got my first job online. It also has some difficult moments when I thought that it was all over. One of those times was when my laptop computer at home stopped responding. After a few minutes of tweaking, shifting the hard drive from my old to the new drive, and installing the new desktop, my work was restored. It took me three days of sweating, literally crying... I've learned one thing. It is possible to automate or manually backup my work from the day using Dropbox and personal FTP servers to ensure that nothing can ever be lost. It's definitely not the most efficient option. The bigger your online data storage, the more will need to pay to protect it. It's easy and seems quite secure. It is also easily accessible and downloadable from any location with internet access. But what about times when WiFi? or any other internet connection is not available? I love to keep my laptop close at hand for those instances. It's my last line of defense against data loss. I have 2 drives, each with a RAID stack. They copy each others and make sure there's at least one copy in case one of the HDDs is destroyed. Since I don't copy much the laptop doesn't work very often. This is why I hope that not 2 drives will fail at the same time. The other day of my life of deep grief occurred just a few weeks back. As I mentioned above, I make sure not to lose my work. I now copy the same file multiple times and make it on hand wherever internet connectivity is accessible. It was Periscope. I used it a lot few years back and this past summer during the riots, I participated in a few live streams.. And all of a sudden Periscope TV is closing, and all the videos will be gone in a few weeks time. What should I do next? I'd like to have all the videos to be downloaded so that they are able to be saved off-line on my laptop. They are very important to me. This is the last time we had a night out with my friend.<img width="446" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-i9bMBGaHmRo/V5W0OgeFMPI/AAAAAAAAALs/yDe2LO6LOekCevRVktuQUtmvIkMsdX_jwCLcB/s1600/youtube-downloader.png">It's a website I use to download videos from Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and other places. I am very involved in politics, underground movements and other underground movements. Therefore, I film a lot, save and upload them to my YouTube? channel. When the live event is over, it goes into my laptop. That's the way I work. This allows me cross-posting videos on different platforms. https://anotepad.com/notes/8kpesr7q Not only can I post Youtube videos on Facebook however, I can also upload that video directly to Facebook. It's its own video. It turns out that I've got over 3TB of live streams that I've produced over the last eight years. Periscope lives aren't gone.. This site has been very useful to me.It functions like an angel. When I play a video I wish to download on Periscope, Youtube or Facebook or YouTube?, then copy its URL through the share link. Then , I visit the website for video downloaders and paste the video URL in the location they'd like to download it. hit big button and in moments I am presented with options to download the video. I save it to my desktop or laptop, to copy it across other platforms and simple preserve it for the people I know and love. Periscope isn't on every website. However, this site does offer Periscope assistance. If you're not aware of this, Windows can utilize the copy command to help you join these fragments to make a standard 1 long video file. The format for video used to create video fragments is called MpegTS, which is also known as transport stream. It contains all the information required for decoding video in each fragment which makes them distinct from the stream in itself and allowing each newcomer to start streaming in a seamless manner. The browser also allows you to save information because it only downloads the files which are relevant to what you are watching. For instance, if you only view only 25 seconds of the stream, the player will download only 3-4 fragments. In addition, it may download the next couple of fragments. This greatly reduces the total amount of data required to watch the stream for 25 seconds.
