The times are challenging. I find it difficult to navigate this new world of gig economy just as well as the traditional one. Before the pandemic I was doing extremely well. I was also employed as dental assistant. I now have to fill a night-time security position at an adjacent machine production plant. Most of it is automated. There are workers during the day, but only me and 2 engineers on night time crew. I have an emergency number to dial in the event of an accident or when machinery stops working. Then, I contact engineers and/or the outside line to find more engineers. I'm not actually doing anything. It's not like they create anything of value here. Night time guard is a glorified switchboard attendant. In any event I enjoy it. It's quiet. Although I'm a sleepy person, I'm a bit scared. It's pretty dull in the evening which is why I try to make it go by quicker. https://diigo.com/0nldjq For instance, over the past 2 weeks, I've been working on a Tik Tok dance. It's not hard however it's difficult to replicate the dance. The dance was taught to me by a young Tik Tok sister, so it's not easy. I don’t know what to do with that information since I'm old.I've been playing with different car-fixing videos recently. Although I don’t have a way to directly apply them to my car, it’s entertaining to see other people's automobiles get unstoppable. Same goes for any DIY videos - they're often informative and simple to view. It was at this point that I realized there was a problem. Internet stopped working on my phone eventually. I couldn't connect to any videos or other activities because, as we all know, internet is essential for everything. I managed to download Youtube videos, then save them to my phone, and then I was able to view YouTube? videos at home without having internet access. It doesn’t matter what you do regardless of whether you stream the video from an online site, or another site online or download it from home. Then you can watch it right off your phone when there’s no internet connection or wifi. It's exactly the same as DVR to watch online videos. To my complete delight I was able to download the latest episodes and films to my laptop. My laptop is more comfortable than my desktop and has superior speakers. I just signed up for HULU and I now have Netflix, and both of them allow you to install their app , and instead of watching a movie that you want to download, you can mark the movie for download, then put it off for a couple of hours, depending on the length of the show and quality options, the video will be transferred to your device and available to watch any time with or with no internet connection. It takes only 15 minutes to watch television however it also lets you catch up on any episodes that you didn't catch last night. https://anotepad.com/notes/be83yr7h To make my time go by faster, I can find numerous educational and enjoyable materials I can print at home. Youtube's webinars are fantastic. But it's difficult to stay focused on the message when you're interrupted multiple times. If you don't get it I'll explain. You'll understand the concept.<img width="350" src="https://a.fsdn.com/con/app/proj/youtube-downloader-video/screenshots/device-2015-09-22-115649.png">Sometimes, I bring my son to work. My wife's shift at night isn't until late, so it's hard for me to remain at home with my child. So I take my son along, set him by the computer screens where I keep track of my work, and in a matter of minutes he is asleep.. I wake him and give him my computer with a few songs. He's so content to be able to watch the videos. It is how we all collaborate better when we do our thing. But he seems to like coming with me, maybe because he ends up staying awake for the majority of the night. Isn't that what kids want sometimes?
