Coalition of Mothers Against Censorship or, as it's often referred to, CoMAC, is once again on the war path. Most of the victims of the summer 2020 turmoil were mothers. Their daughters and sons were taking to the streets in protest against different causes. Mothers were at in their homes, waiting, and anxiously awaiting the day their children returned home for treatment. A pandemic meant that going to the emergency department for minor issues was not an alternative. It is possible to contract Covid simply by being there. The majority of mothers prefer to care for their children at home, applying bandages and lovingly covering any cracks or cuts with lots of sanitizers.And then, weeks, or even months later, CoMAC is back in the game, trying to prove to the government officials that this isn't how it works. How police would treat peaceful protesters, how they were sprayed with water and trucks were seen running through the crowd.. Youtube and Twitter video sharing is often shut off for copyright claims. CoMAC has to sometimes investigate uploaders to ensure that evidence remains available. Moms share their strength and emotional support to each other and offer it to extended family all across the country. We need to rise up and stop trying to get rid of evidence of brutality from governmental employees towards otherwise located protesters.Mothers end up in the front because they have children to cuddle and are usually those who smoke on the frontlines. This is not the way our children have been taught to live their lives in peace. Let's take control of the world around us. Only by taking personal responsibility and better government oversight will we be able to thrive as a society and conquer our challenges in a manner that is tolerant while still holding on to just goals.
